People come to church seeking many different types of connection. Some connect to the church primarily through worship, while others look for opportunities to make friends. Some people won’t feel at home in a church until they have a role in leadership or a particular job to do. Others come looking to join a small group such as choir or bible study.
When you’re new to a church, sometimes you’re not sure where to start making these connections. This week, Pastor Cara and I talk about the different ways that small churches and large churches invite people to build connections within the church. We also want to extend an invitation for those who are wondering how to get connected at Puyallup UMC to attend the Membership Class this Saturday, November 7 from 1-2:30 on zoom as well as the Spiritual Gifts class on Saturday, November 21 from 1-2.
