On this third Sunday of Advent, we will be celebrating with our special Christmas Cantata, "Hope!" Our choir will be telling the story of Christ's birth through several choral anthems. There will be familiar carols mixed with original music incorporating gospel, soul, and even blues styles. The narration is moving and will bless you with the message of the season. Our Scripture reading will be from Psalm 126.
Join us this week for the second Sunday of Advent. We will be celebrating with our annual All-Ages Interactive Christmas Pageant. Come help tell the Christmas story as we sing carols, play, laugh, and reflect on God’s work in the world. Be sure to get there early to get a costume! For decades, the Associated Ministries of Tacoma Pierce County has brought together people of many different faith traditions for an evening of celebration and friendship at the annual “Interfaith Celebration of Gratitude.” Here at Puyallup UMC, we were privileged to serve as hosts for the 35th annual gathering in 2023. We’re pleased to have permission to be able to share that with you here.
