Our Beliefs and Missions
Communion

Puyallup United Methodist Church is focused on spreading the word of God beyond the doors of our church and helping God’s people who are in need.

We have a committed outreach ministry that strives to meet some basic needs of others locally and across our state and globe. We also advocate for justice toward meeting those same needs. There are opportunities to be directly involved in mission and outreach that changes lives.

Communion – Our table is open to all people who desire to receive communion. Please join with us in this sacrament. Take the bread and dip it in the juice and then eat it. Feel free to kneel at the rail and pray or return to your seat after receiving communion.

Baptism – In baptism God proclaims our adoption by grace, and our response of faith and love to God. Persons of all ages are baptized during a service of public worship, where commitments are also made by the community to support the baptized individual in their faith life.

We strive to be a Christian fellowship where Jesus is our Redeemer and the Gospel is proclaimed. We welcome all who seek the love of Christ in their lives. We nurture all through Spirit-led ministries of worship, teaching, caring and support. Check out the Ministries sesction of the website for additional information.
